BHC to host clean up event Feb. 27

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City, Mohave County probation, sanitation contractor Republic Services and citizens will partner in a community cleanup organized by a homeless task force. City Manager Toby Cotter says the target area runs from Home Depot to Community Park where illegal dumping and the homeless have left a mess along the Colorado River.

“There have been some areas there that are really nasty,” Cotter said. Anyone wanting to participate in the cleanup is asked to assemble at the Chamber of Commerce on Highway 95 by 8:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27.

Cotter said participants should wear closed-toe shoes, pants, long-sleeve shirts, hats and gloves.
