BULLHEAD CITY – The City of Bullhead City is honoring Chief of Police Brian Williamson for his dedicated service by holding a farewell retirement drive-thru celebration.
The public is invited to join the farewell retirement drive-thru celebration on Wednesday, August 26at 10 a.m. Vehicles may begin lining up at 9:30 a.m. on Hoppa’s Drive/Gary Keith Park (between Mohave High School and Public Works). The police department’s traffic personnel will lead the vehicle procession through the drive-thru route, which will head south on Alona’s Way to the parking lot of the Bullhead City Justice Complex, 1255 Marina Blvd. The Chief will be located by the flag poles outside of the Bullhead City Council Chambers.
The public is encouraged to decorate their vehicles for the celebration. After greeting Chief Williamson from their vehicles, the procession will exit the parking lot on Alona’s Way toward Trane Road. A private, formal retirement presentation will be held at 9 a.m. before the farewell retirement drive-thru. The presentation will be broadcast live on TV 4 and online at www.bullheadcity.com/tv4live. It will also be posted on the Police Department’s Facebook page.
