Bullhead man charged in highway shooting

TOPOCK – Last Tuesday, March 17, deputies were dispatched to a weapons offense that occurred in the area of County Route 1. According to a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, the victim advised that she and a passenger were on their way home to Topock, when a black truck came speeding up behind them. The truck passed them on the roadway and she heard a popping sound. When the victim arrived home, she observed a bullet hole in her vehicle. MOHAVE COUNTY – A second coronavirus case has been confirmed in Mohave County. The first COVID-9 infection announced Tuesday night is traced to the Lake Havasu City area. During a Wednesday press conference it was announced that a second confirmed case emanates from the Bullhead City area. Executive order covers all evictions for Arizonans

PHOENIX – Arizona Governor Ducey issued an executive order on Tuesday, March 24, delaying the enforcement of eviction action orders for renters impacted by COVID-19. The order applies to renters who are quarantining due to COVID-19 or are facing economic hardship as a result of the outbreak. MOHAVE COUNTY – The confirmation of the first positive case of COVID-19 in Mohave County has triggered the enforcement of Governor Doug Ducey’s Arizona Executive Order 2020-09 in Mohave County. Until further notice, all bars, movie and stage theaters, indoor gyms and fitness clubs in Mohave County, including all those in the incorporated cities of Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City and Kingman, must close to the public immediately. MOHAVE COUNTY – The tourism sector of the economy is quite vulnerable to the coronavirus. Spring events that draw thousands of people to the tri-state area are being postponed if not canceled due to social distancing protocols and travel restrictions.
