TOPOCK – Last Tuesday, March 17, deputies were dispatched to a weapons offense that occurred in the area of County Route 1.

According to a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, the victim advised that she and a passenger were on their way home to Topock, when a black truck came speeding up behind them. The truck passed them on the roadway and she heard a popping sound. When the victim arrived home, she observed a bullet hole in her vehicle.

Meanwhile, California Highway Patrol advised they had detained Daniel John Cady, 38 of Bullhead City. Cady was stopped due to suspected driving while intoxicated.
