MEC offers $5,000 school grant for renewable energy curriculum

BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave Electric Cooperative continues its support of education by announcing the $5,000 School Grant for renewable energy curriculum for 2021 / 2022 academic school year. Submittals are now being accepted for the grant from teachers and schools in MEC’s service territory until the August 20, 2021 deadline. One grant will be awarded. The grant application is simple. Submit a short, written description of the lesson plan that teaches about renewable energy and include materials and a cost breakdown. Senator Kelly Meets with Mohave County Leaders, Talks Economic Recovery and Development

KINGMAN – Arizona Senator Mark Kelly continued his focus on infrastructure investments, economic recovery and workforce development in meetings with local leaders and visits in Mohave County last week. At the start of the visit, Kelly toured the Kingman Airport and Industrial Park, which is the largest industrial park outside of Maricopa County.
