Local businessman announces candidacy for District 4 Supervisor

KINGMAN – Longtime Kingman resident Don Martin has announced his intention to seek the District 4 Board of Supervisors seat that is being vacated by Jean Bishop. Martin, a Kingman resident since1972, said he is calling on his lifetime of public service to serve as his qualification to serve the citizens of District 4. “I am a proud veteran who volunteered and joined the U.S. Army in 1969,” Martin said. PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Transportation is using a new tool to battle winter storms: two high-capacity snowblowers that reduce the time needed to clear highways after heavy snowfall. These replacement snowblowers, which are deployed where snowfall is heaviest in the Flagstaff and Mogollon Rim areas, have quickly become an important part of ADOT’s snow removal efforts. This includes helping clear multiple highways in recent days and being ready for the next round of snow in Arizona’s high country.
