Disc golf a growing sport in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Disc Golf Open Tournament was a hit this past weekend. Many spectators headed over to Sara Park to witness several divisions compete in the ever-growing sport.   The Lake Havasu City Open was a two-day event that began on Saturday, February 3 ending on Sunday, February 4 at the permanent disc golf course located just past Sara Park’s dog park. Brady part of teams that placed at nationals

The University of Alabama All-Girl and Coed cheerleading teams each placed second at the UCA National Competition held at Walt Disney World in Orlando January 14. The Dance Team earned a spot in the D1 Jazz finals that same weekend in Orlando and placed eighth and ninth in the Gameday Dance semifinals.
