Dear Editor, I am very concerned about the state of the nation in the hands of the Democrat Party (it certainly is not democratic). It seems we are heading hell-bent down the path to Marxism since President Biden took office. Everything his administration has accomplished is to the negative. Nothing, in my opinion, has been done to the credit of the United States of America. Americans have been abandoned in Afghanistan, BLM and Antifa have been allowed to run rampant as is witnessed by the over 500 riots during the summer of 2020, CRT is being pushed in elementary schools…

Dear Editor, Greetings, Rick Simpson. Still no answer! The question remains the same: why do conservatives think it acceptable people like Bezos, Musk, Trump, and Soros, plus large corporations, get by with paying little to no tax, and it’s fair the rest of us pay for all the governmental programs? Once again, you have offered no answer. Apparently, conservatives think you can insult the questioner and twist and re-write the subject. Just like most conservatives in Washington who are refusing to express an opinion or reveal any facts (about the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection), and in Trump’s case his taxes….

Dear Editor, A young adult lady in Johnson County, Kentucky was recently faithfully working her convenient store register job. She had a line of patrons buying drinks and paying for gasoline. Someone asked her how much money she made. “Nine dollars an hour,” she said. “I’ve worked here over two years and the pay has been $9 an hour. I’ve asked for a raise. I work hard. Luedith, beloved and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend of many, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Kingman, Arizona on December 17, 2021. She was born March 18, 1935 in Mountain View, Missouri to John and Edith (Roberts) Novotny. Luedith and her husband Frank married in 1954. Drowning death near Body Beach in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A death at Lake Havasu is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Deputies responded at 5:55 p.m. on Jan. 7 to a report of a possible drowning in the area of Body Beach. “Early reports advised witnesses observed a fully clothed male subject walk into the water from shore and never resurfaced,” Mortensen said. “The subject was located deceased in approximately 5 feet of water by Boating Deputies.” The subject has been identified as Danny Sipes, 58 of San Angelo, TX. Dear Editor, I am a 79 year old retired firefighter. I worked for L.A. County Fire Dept. for 31 years. I had numerous injuries throughout my career. Since late February, I hurt my left hip and now need a hip replacement, but in the meantime, old fire injuries surfaced: an MRI on my right shoulder and torn left knee.
