Rat Rod Addition Road to Ruckus participants visit Kingman

About 50 world-class rat rods and custom cars from around North America made a pit stop Wednesday at the Journey Church in Kingman. Their arrival in Kingman was hosted jointly by the Journey Church on Bank Street and Earls’ Hot Rod Shop in Golden Valley. The purpose of their stopover was so they could show off their “rides,” swap stories with other participants and local car enthusiasts, and as part of their trek to the Ruckus Car show in Las Vegas. Kingman’s Beale Street Theater just finished auditions and casting for Bye Bye Birdie, and we are in for a treat here in Mohave County!        Bye Bye Birdie is a musical about a dashing young singer named Conrad Birdie, inspired by the iconic Elvis Presley. When he is drafted into the Army, his managers, Albert Peterson, and Rosie Alvarez, come up with the last publicity stunt before Conrad is swept away.
