CHLORIDE – Newly renovated Yesterday’s Restaurant and Shep’s Miner’s Inn is open for business. Rich in history, its main building was built to house a late 1800’s stage-coach repair and rest stop. A sometimes “watering-hole” for celebrities and a stepping-stone site for movie carriers of Jack Nicholson and Bruce Dern, Yesterday’s became a favored stopover for Mel Tillis, second singing home for Joe Feeney (Irish Tenor on Lawrence Welk), and starting place for Talent Quest, world’s largest Karaoke competition.
