Fog sealing projects begin Thursday and Friday

As part of the ongoing pavement preservation effort to keep the roads and parking lots in good condition, Lake Havasu City is fog sealing the SARA Park Trailhead and Cypress Park parking lots, as well as, applying new asphalt in front of Cypress Park on Cypress Drive, Thursday and Friday this week. Conservative Republican Club of Kingman to meet Aug. 12

Conservative Republican Club of Kingman’s next meeting is on Monday, August 12 at 11:15 a.m. at the Dambar Steakhouse, 1960 E. Andy Devine Avenue.  They will be having the Head of the Trump-2020 in Arizona Committee, Mr. Drew Sexton, as their guest speaker. The meeting costs a measly $3, with lunch optional and on ones own. One does not have to be a member to come to the meeting, guests are welcomed and encouraged. No reservations are necessary and dress is casual.

Bogart, Bacall featured for movie night

KINGMAN – The Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center (KHAC) will host their monthly movie night on Friday, Aug. 23 beginning at 6 p.m. This month’s featured movie is “To Have and Have Not” from 1944, starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Walter Brennan. Steve Conn will provide historical and behind-the-scenes commentary before the movie starts. Family and friends are welcome. A $2 donation per person benefits KHAC’s various programs.
