LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department will be conducting DUI enforcement details from Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2, for the Labor Day holiday, per a grant awarded by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

The Labor Day weekend is one of the deadliest times of the year in terms of nationwide drunk-driving fatalities according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
