Bullhead woman takes plea dismissing her drug charges

KINGMAN – A Bullhead City woman caught hocking stolen jewelry and possessing methamphetamine entered a plea agreement Tuesday that could bring time in the Arizona Department of Corrections. Terms of the deal entered August 13 for Amber Wilkinson, 37, afford Judge Billy Sipe the flexibility to place her on probation or impose up to 18 months in prison. The agreement dismisses possession of dangerous drugs and narcotic drugs charges, two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and three counts of trafficking in stolen property. Drunk driver released with time served

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman was released from the Mohave County Jail following imposition of sentence in an impaired driving incident that included a crash and a scuffle with police officers. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert on August 12 imposed an 83-day jail sentence for Cali Samson, 21, and credited her for the same number of days spent in custody. Public input sought on Willow Beach improvements

BOULDER CITY  – The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking public comments on the development of an environmental assessment to improve portions of Willow Beach Road.  The NPS, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is proposing to repair the deteriorated roadway. KINGMAN – A Bullhead City man charged in an episode of violence evades a possible prison sentence under terms of a plea agreement entered in Mohave County Superior Court on August 13. Terms of the deal require Judge Rick Lambert to place Tyler Ziilch, 38, on probation at a September 9 sentencing hearing. Judge Lambert also has discretion to order up to a year in the county jail and up to $20,000 in restitution.
