Donald John Bartolerio, of Kingman, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. He was 86. Mr. Barolerio was born June 29, 1933 in Wauwatosa, Wisc. Internment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. The family contact is his wife Leontine Jean Dosch. Arrangements were made by Desert View Funeral Home.

The Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona has created a $50,000 endowment at Northern Arizona University (NAU) for the preservation and promotion of Arizona Route 66 history. The Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona’s mission is to preserve, promote, and protect Route 66 in Arizona, so it was a natural fit for the Association to create an endowment at NAU’s Cline Library to help preserve Route 66 history. U.S. Air Force Airman Nicholas J. Oestmann graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Oestmann is the son of Eric and Shelley Oestmann and grandson of Zelda Wright, all of Kingman. He is a 2019 graduate of Lee Williams High School, Kingman.
