Reavis handed off to federal authorities

Local authorities have declined prosecution of a Lake Havasu City resident who has been linked to the drug overdose-related death of a recording artist in California. Ryan Reavis, 36, was arrested when authorities seized prescription pills and weapons on September 23 from the home he and his girlfriend occupied in the 1000 block of Barcelona Loop in Lake Havasu. It was revealed that Reavis was a person of interest in the September, 2018 death of an accomplished rap star known as Mac Miller. Laughlin gaming numbers up

LAUGHLIN, Nev. – Laughlin casinos enjoyed increased earnings in August. The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports that clubs along the Colorado River logged a gaming win of almost $38.2 million, up 1.5% from August 2018. The statewide gaming win of $952-million in august represents a 4.3% increase from the same month last year. Analyst Michael Lawton said key drivers of the August win were sports pools and table games, including blackjack, craps and roulette.
