No injuries in house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 2:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30 , a fire was reported by the homeowner in the 3000 block of Janet Drive. The occupants discovered fire in the garage and evacuated the residence. The first arriving fire company reported heavy fire in the garage area with the fire quickly turning into defensive fire conditions. Five engine companies, one truck company, two battalion chief’s, and a division chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire within 80 minutes. There were no reported injuries. Asphalt pavement repair at Oro Grande Blvd Wednesday

LAKE HAVASU CITY – To fix the failed pavement section at Oro Grande Boulevard, caused by a water main break, the Lake Havasu City Maintenance Services Division is closing Oro Grande Boulevard in both directions from Yattahhey Drive to Osage Drive. Work is scheduled to occur between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Wednesday December 4, subject to weather and other conditions. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes, allow themselves extra travel time and follow all construction signage. Alleged burglar arrested near victim’s home

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office(MCSO) deputies arrested Dimitri Jacob Wise, 18, of Kingman, for first degree criminal trespassing, third degree burglary, theft of means of transportation, all felonies; misdemeanor criminal damage, and an active arrest warrant. On November 24 at about 11:45 a.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Devlin Ave. in reference to an attempted burglary. The homeowner showed deputies video footage of a man entering the property and attempting to steal a quad from inside his fenced property. Activities will reduce the threat of wildfire to adjacent communities KINGMAN – The Bureau of Land Management’s Kingman Field Office, in cooperation with the Pine Lake Fire Department, Mohave County Parks Department and Mohave County Department of Risk and Emergency Management, will conduct prescribed burning near the community of Pine Lake as well as inside Hualapai Mountain Park, starting in early December and continuing through early February, as weather and fuel conditions allow. Couple raided, charged with drugs for sale

BULLHEAD CITY – The Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), with assistance from Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission (GITEM) and Bullhead City Police detectives, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of Castleberry Lane as a result of a drug sales investigation. On the morning of November 27, police arrested Thomas and Sandra Kleve after officers located approximately 252 grams of methamphetamine, which is a street value of over $12,500.
