KINGMAN, Ariz. – Governor Doug Ducey issued Executive Order 2020-09 that limits the operations of certain businesses to slow the spread of COVID-19.  Specifically, the order requires that all bars, movie theaters, indoor gyms and fitness clubs close public access in all counties that have a positive result for COVID-19.  Restaurants are limited to “dine-out” options including pick-up, delivery and drive-through options. Park saw 40,000 visitors last Saturday March 23, 2020 (BOULDER CITY, Nevada) – Lake Mead National Recreation Area, in response to Nevada Declaration of Emergency Directive 003 issued by the Governor of the State of Nevada, is announcing additional modifications to operations to support federal, state and local efforts to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).  Lake Mead National Recreation Area is the sixth most visited unit of the National Park Service.
