State offices moving in Kingman

Dozens of state workers who staff two offices in downtown Kingman will soon be transitioning to a single office on Airway Avenue. The City of Kingman has issued a temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the brand new facility, allowing supplies and furnishings to be delivered for use in the 40,000 sq. ft. building.    The agency handling the project, the Arizona Department of Administration, has not provided any updated information despite three inquiries over the last month. Mohave County ends Thursday with 75 virus cases

MOHAVE COUNTY –  The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified Wednesday evening of six COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County. The contact investigations have been initiated with all six cases. Plans for Kingman Perkins store on hold

 It was nearly four years ago when the community first learned of plans to build a Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Kingman. Those involved made it clear that construction wouldn’t likely begin until late 2017 or 2018 at the project site between Interstate 40 and the rear of the new Safeway shopping complex.   The city approved plans for the 5,258 square-foot eatery that can seat up to 257 people. Governor Ducey issues new guidance on elective surgeries

Elective Surgeries To Resume May 1 For Health Care Facilities That Meet Preparedness Standards With hospitals reporting increased availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and bed capacity, Governor Ducey today issued an Executive Order removing restrictions on conducting elective surgeries for hospitals, health care facilities and providers that meet certain preparedness criteria.  Under the new order, hospitals, dental offices and other health facilities can resume conducting elective surgeries on May 1 if they can show they have implemented measures intended to keep health care workers and patients safe.
