COVID-19: 139 cases, 14 deaths for Mohave County

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified late Sunday afternoon of five new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County. Three of the cases are in the Kingman service area and two are in the Lake Havasu City area. Two of the three Kingman area individuals are in the 20-44 year age range, in isolation, recovering at home, and are not linked to another confirmed case and are not travel related. The City has operated under the virtual City Hall concept since March 23 ensuring the safety of all employees who continue to serve the residents of the community. Lone Palm, Goldstrike Canyon, Arizona Hot Spring Trails closed through September

BOULDER CITY, Nevada – A temporary emergency closure will go into effect for an area that has become known as Lone Palm Trail, due to a spike in emergency public safety incidents. First responders have conducted nine search and rescues on this trail within the past 45 days, compared to one search and rescue during the same period last year.
