BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Council has approved municipal intervention in the Bermuda Water company rate case pending before the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) in Phoenix. The city will seek standing in the matter scheduled for formal hearing early next year. “They have proposed a 24% increase for south Bullhead City residents and those outside the city limits,” city manager Toby Cotter said late last month. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A sentencing hearing is the only matter left in the prosecution of parents from Lake Havasu City who were charged in the blunt force trauma and starvation death of their toddler daughter. Andrew Lamorie, 24, is already serving a 16-year prison term after pleading guilty to second degree murder. MOHAVE VALLEY – Mosquito surveillance conducted this past week in Mohave Valley by the Mohave County Environmental Health Division (MCEHD) revealed the following locations that met the protocol to conduct fogging.
