BULLHEAD CITY –Three Bullhead City School District (BCSD) grade schools will enroll and register new kindergarten students over two days this month for the fall semester. The annual Kindergarten Registration is for new students who will turn five years old on or before August 31 this year. Kindergarten Registration will be held at Desert Valley, Diamondback and Sunrise Elementary Schools on March 26 and 27 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Each campus individualizes its Kindergarten Registration program. Marion A Praschil (nee Blauvelt) passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024 with her Daughters and Granddaughter by her side. Marion was born in Teaneck, NJ on January 23, 1932 to the late Raymond and Edith Blauvelt. Marion grew up in Teaneck and was the oldest of the 4 Blauvelt Sisters. Marion met and married the love of her life Richard (Richie) Praschil in 1950 and it was in Teaneck they would raise their 4 children. Mexican wolf population grows for eighth consecutive year

PHOENIX — The wild population of Mexican wolves saw another year of growth in 2023, according to the results of the annual survey. The 2023 population census revealed a minimum of 257 Mexican wolves distributed across Arizona and New Mexico. This increase marks the eighth consecutive year of population growth, the longest continuous streak since recovery efforts began. The 2023 population minimum count represents a six percent increase from the minimum of 242 wolves counted in 2022.
