Ayala  enters plea for role in armed bank robbery

KINGMAN – The wheelman in a Kingman bank robbery has entered a plea agreement that will send him to prison for nearly a decade. Christopher Ayala, 49, California pleaded guilty Aug. 8 to robbery and unlawful use of means of transportation.

Terms of the agreement require Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle to impose a 9.5-year prison term at a Sept. 5 sentencing hearing.

No arrests in Bullhead shooting death

BULLHEAD CITY – A knife-wielding aggressor was shot and killed during an Aug. 8 confrontation in Bullhead City, according to police. Officers responded at 7:50 p.m. to the 900 block of Seafair Drive where a woman had been shot.

Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Lucindy Gale Parkison, 49, Bullhead City was found dead inside the home.
