KINGMAN – In September of 2019 the Kingman Police Department (KPD) was one of the first agencies in Arizona to be accredited through the AZ Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP).  The accreditation program requires that accredited agencies undergo annual review and a formal on-site visit every four years. During the week of August 9, Captain Larry Jones, of the Page Police Department, and Commander Jason Christofferson, of the Peoria Police Department, performed the ‘on-site’ assessment of KPD.  During the on-site visit the assessors are given full access to agency policies, procedures, training program and staff.       On September 14, during the…

Dig It hosting open house

KINGMAN – Dig It Community Garden will be hosting an open house on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gardens, 2301 Lillie Ave. The free event is open to the public. BULLHEAD CITY _ The Mohave County Airport Authority (MCAA), the City of Bullhead City, and the Laughlin Tourism Commission (LTC) have announced the Laughlin Bullhead Airshow (LBAS) will be returning to the blue skies over the Mojave Desert.
