KINGMAN – A Kingman man arrested in a fentanyl seizure faces a possible prison sentence after entering a plea agreement during an April 10 hearing at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center. Arthur Kerns, 70, is convicted of a charge reduced to attempted transportation of a narcotic drug for sale.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Another five-year prison term has been ordered for a second Apple Valley, California man who entered a plea agreement for transporting drugs to sell in Lake Havasu City. Jeffery Prochazka, 36, was sentenced by Judge Billy Sipe on Friday, April 10.

The punishment was stipulated in a plea agreement convicting the 28-year-old defendant of manslaughter in the death almost a year ago of Travis Cooke in Cooke’s home at 480 Lauritzen Street in Colorado City.
