Havasu Mobility received the Outstanding Special Needs Transportation Program award at the 32nd Annual Arizona Transit Association Conference in Mesa, Arizona. Five agencies were nominated, with Havasu Mobility being nominated by MileMarkers Therapy. Patrick Cipres, Havasu Mobility Program Supervisor, accepted the award on behalf of Lake Havasu City. Bullhead women victim of hit and run

  The death of a Bullhead City woman in Golden Valley is being investigated as a suspected hit and run incident. Mohave County Sheriff’s office deputies responded at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday April 23 to a report of a subject in the roadway in the area of Colorado Road and Brook Drive in Golden Valley.    Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Krisandrea Lynn Pannell-Cashen, 62, Bullhead City was dead at the scene. Kraft says human error was reason for accident

Bowie will not be euthanized VALENTINE – Keepers of the Wild Founder and Executive Director Jonathan Kraft received multiple injuries Monday afternoon from Bowie, a Bengal Tiger. The accident occurred during a Flash Flood Warning period of heavy rain, lightning, thunder and hail. Jonathan was concerned for the welfare of several large cats in his approximate area including the tiger and took unilateral action to allow them access to protection from the elements.
