KINGMAN – Eight people have expressed interest in four elected positions in the City of Kingman. Terms of office expire this year for Mayor Jen Miles, Vice-Mayor Travis Lingenfelter and city council members Jamie Scott Stehly and David Wayt.
City Clerk Annie Meredith said Miles and Stehly have picked up information packets to pursue re-election. Others who’ve secured the packets include Sarah Ferry, William Arredondo, Timothy Griepp, Joe Newlon, Andrew Armao and Jeff Adams.
Prospective candidates for Mayor and Council seats are required to submit nominating petitions between March 9 and April 6.
At least 289 valid signatures are required and no more than 578 should be turned in to qualify campaigns.
