MOHAVE COUNTY — Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputy Cal Gonzales was promoted to sergeant on September 19. Gonzalez has been with the MCSO for four years. Prior to that, he worked for Lake Havasu City Police for 9-1/2 years and served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer for five years.
He said he has aspirations of one day becoming sheriff. “I’d be honored to become sheriff one day if the stars are aligned,” Gonzalez said. “I love working for this department, love working for the sheriff. He’s one of the greatest bosses I’ve ever had.”
