KINGMAN, Ariz. – Not guilty pleas have been entered for a Kingman man charged with felony offenses committed at five different crime scenes. Dylan Swint, 37, is held on $300,000 bond following his Aug. 31 arraignment before Judge Billy Sipe.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said Swint fired a weapon in the parking lot of the Hualapai Mountain Lodge the evening of Aug. 17. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said three more shell casings matching the one found outside the Lodge were located where additional shots were fired in the area of E Crumb. Road and E. Knob Hill Dr.
Mortensen said Swint subsequently pointed the weapon at people in separate vehicles that pulled over to see if he needed help where he was temporarily parked. Swint is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the county case.
Swint is also charged with multiple offenses for firing rounds at two residences in the City of Kingman, following the incidents in the county.
The Kingman Police Department alleged that Swint fired at least 17 gunshots toward homes located in the 3700 block of Miller Street and the 3700 block of North Kenneth Road. He is charged with two counts each of discharging a firearm at a residence and discharging a firearm at a non-residence and drive-by shooting.
No one was injured in the city or county incidents. Deputy Kingman Police Chief Joel Freed said Swint was highly intoxicated and possibly under the influence of an unknown drug when arrested.
Swint is scheduled to appear for a pre-trial conference hearing on Sept. 8.
