KINGMAN, Ariz. – Mohave College invites the community to celebrate the opening of its new Cosmetology facility during a ribbon cutting at 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at 307 E. Beale St. in downtown Kingman.
The celebration will include a short speaking program and ribbon cutting, followed by tours of the new facility and a reception next door.
The new Cosmetology Certificate program provides hands-on training in hair design, skin care, nail technology and salon practices. The 40-credit program includes 1,500 clock hours of training designed to prepare students for Arizona cosmetology licensure and careers in salons, spas and related businesses.
The event is free and open to the public.
