No injuries reported in Havasu garage fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – At approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, a fire was reported in the 2000 block of College Drive. A neighbor observed smoke coming from the attic and immediately notified the occupants, while others notified dispatch.

The first arriving fire company reported a working attic fire. Five engine companies and a Battalion Chief responded to the incident and brought the fire under control within 16 minutes, successfully containing it to the attic.

The occupants evacuated the residence safely. No injuries were reported among firefighters.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
