In Loving Memory of Robin Renee Gamez

June 4, 1959 – March 29, 2026

Robin, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister, passed away in her home at the age of 66.

Born in Grants, New Mexico, Robin and her loving husband, Ruben, raised their children in Stanfield, Arizona, and later settled in Kingman, Arizona, where she made her home for over 20 years. She retired from WACOG last summer. Robin and Ruben enjoyed watching the Arizona Cardinals together and attending live games with family and friends.

Her family was the most important part of her life, and she devoted herself completely to those she loved. Her daughters were not only her children but her best friends, sharing a bond filled with love, laughter, and deep connection.

Robin was a devoted wife, a caring and selfless mother, and a deeply present and loving grandmother. Just one day after her passing, her family welcomed her first great-grandchild into the world—a bittersweet reminder of the love and legacy she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen “Al” and Cheryl Dobbs; her brother, Michael “Mike” Dobbs; and her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Murrieta.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Gamez Jr.; her daughters, Deonna (Troy) Bullis, Frankie (Troy) Stremick, Amber (Mitch) Smith, and Magen (Dan) Zappela; her grandchildren, Kyle Olivarez, Courtney Haynes, Ricky Ybarra, Taylor Slayden, Gage Ybarra, Anthony Bullis, Tavin Gamez, Connor Mitchell, Tate Bullis, Taylin Lopez, Lucy Smith, Ava Stremick, and Kynley Smith; her great-granddaughter, Ayla Olivarez; her siblings, Susie Dobbs and Curt Dieter; and many loved ones.

Robin’s love will forever live on in the hearts of her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 7 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. at Journey Church. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Journey Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held after the funeral, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Kingman Elks Lodge.
