BULLHEAD CITY – A Fort Mohave woman arrested in a significant methamphetamine bust in Bullhead City has entered a plea agreement. Dara Tristan, 47, is one of three women arrested following a late night, Oct. 30, 2025 traffic stop of two vehicles traveling in tandem.
The Bullhead City Police Department reported that officers acted on information that a large quantity of meth was being driven to Bullhead City from Las Vegas. Officers stopped a BMW and a Chevrolet Silverado in the 1700 block of Highway 95.
Lake Havasu City police K-9 Echo reportedly assisted and alerted officers to the presence of drugs in both vehicles.
“A search revealed several baggies of methamphetamine, totaling approximately four pounds,” said Emily Fromelt, public information officer for the police department. She said the street value of the seized drugs is estimated at $36,000.
Tristan pleaded guilty to a charge reduced to facilitation of transportation of dangerous drugs for sale during a March 12 hearing before Mohave County Superior Court judge Megan McCoy.
Tristan is eligible for probation, but could get up to two years in prison when sentenced April 8. Cases are still pending for co-defendants Holly Haworth, 46, Fort Mohave, and April Jacobs, 38, Dolan Springs.
