Temporary Street Closure for Special Event at Wheeler Park

LAKE HAVASU CITY – In partnership with Radio Central, Lake Havasu City invites the community to gather in celebration of the season at the lighting of the new LED Christmas tree this Sunday, November 30, at Wheeler Park. The program begins at 6:00 p.m., featuring a special holiday greeting from Mayor Sheehy, followed by the ceremonial lighting.

To ensure safe pedestrian access and event setup, McCulloch Boulevard is temporarily closed from Riviera Boulevard to Capri Boulevard from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the day of the event.

This cherished tradition has brought holiday joy to the community since 1979. Families are encouraged to attend, enjoy the festive atmosphere, share the excitement, and welcome Santa Claus as he makes a special appearance, accompanied by the Lake Havasu City Fire Department.
