KINGMAN — A Kingman woman has entered a probation guaranteed plea agreement involving an illegal mushroom growing operation. Nancy Fournier, 43, pleaded guilty to attempted possession of dangerous drugs for sale during an October 7 hearing.
Deputy Mohave County attorney Rod Albright informed the Court that the hallucinogenic mushroom grow was located in November, 2024, in a closet of a residence in the 2700 block of Pasadena Avenue. He said officers also seized dried mushrooms stored in a quart jar.
Albright said incriminating text messages were retrieved from the defendant’s cell phone. He said Fournier provided a price per gram quote as she tried to market the mushrooms for her partner.
Terms of the deal will result in imposition of supervised probation at a November 6 sentencing hearing. Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle can also order up to one year confinement in the Adult Detention Facility.
