Chloride to celebrate Old Miners’ Day on October 4

City of Chloride welcome sign

CHLORIDE — Every year Chloride honors the hundreds of hard rock miners who labored in the dozens of mines around this historic townsite. This year the Old Miners’ Day celebration is Saturday, October 4.

The occasion will be a day of family-friendly activities, including games, live music, zany parade, gunfights, a raffle, vendors, gold panning, and so much more. To secure a spot in the parade call Angie at (626) 483-4571 or Jeannie at (702) 373-8673 for an entry form. Vendor spots are available at the Mineshaft Market parking lot. Call them for more information at (928) 565-4888.
