MOHAVE COUNTY — Presiding Judge Steven C. Moss announced today the appointment of Michele Holden and Ryan Esplin to the position of Court Commissioner for the Mohave County Superior Court with a start date of October 6, 2025.
Michele Holden currently works at the Attorney General Office and has been admitted to the practice of law in Arizona since 2002. She received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Ryan Esplin currently works at the Mohave County Attorneys Office and has been admitted to the practice of law in Arizona since 2012. He received his law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Law.
“The extensive experience and skills of both of these individuals helped make the decision a fairly easy one,” stated Presiding Judge Moss. “They are both well prepared for this work and come highly recommended by their peers and members of the community.”
The appointments were made to fill the newly created full-time Court Commissioner position with the Superior Court and to fill the vacancy created by the Appointment of Judge Doug Camacho to Division 8.
The commissioners will be appointed as Judge Pro Tems pending the approval of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors.
