City of Kingman partners with Mohave College for Technology Recycle Drive

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is partnering with the Mohave College Computer/Console Club (MC4) to host a Technology Recycle Drive on Saturday, September 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the City of Kingman Public Works Yard, 3700 E. Andy Devine Avenue.

This free community event provides residents a safe and secure way to dispose of old or outdated technology. Items accepted include:

  • Computer components
  • Recorders
  • MP3 players
  • Video players
  • DVD/VHS players
  • Digital cameras
  • Radios
  • Telephones
  • Printers

Please note: TVs, car batteries, or items containing Freon will not be accepted.

Club members will be on-site to help unload items and are also available to remove hard drives from computers upon request, ensuring safe disposal of sensitive information.

“We are pleased to partner with Mohave College on this event to give our community a convenient way to properly dispose of unused technology,” said Ed Tapia, the City’s Solid Waste Supervisor.
