Kingman commission seats open

KINGMAN – The Kingman City Council is inviting residents to apply for upcoming vacancies on several city commissions.  As the year draws to a close, multiple seats will be available, offering opportunities for community members to get involved in shaping Kingman’s future.  The commissions seeking new members include:

* Airport & Industrial Park Advisory Commission

* Clean City Commission

* Economic Development Advisory Commission

* Heritage Preservation Commission

* Municipal Utility Commission

* Planning & Zoning Commission

* Board of Adjustment

Interested individuals can apply online by visiting the City of Kingman Boards and Commissions page. Completed applications can be emailed to cityclerk@cityofkingman.gov or dropped off in person at the City Clerk’s Office, located at 310 North 4th Street.  The deadline to apply for these vacancies is Wednesday, November 27.

Once received, applications will be reviewed by a team that include the appropriate commission staff liaison and the Mayor.  Finalists will be considered at the December 17 City Council meeting.
