MOHAVE COUNTY – County Public Health has been notified of potential harm from “Diamond Shruumz” microdosing chocolates. Individuals who consumed Diamond Shruumz-brand products reported a range of severe symptoms, including seizures, central nervous system depression (e.g., loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness), agitation, abnormal heart rates, hypertension or hypotension, and nausea and vomiting.
“We are currently working on ensuring medical providers and the public in Mohave County are aware of the potential harm from these products,” says Melissa Palmer, Interim Public Health director.
So far in Arizona, it appears that all cases are associated with the chocolate bars, but in other states, reactions are also associated with the company’s other products that specifically include cones and gummies. This is not an FDA regulated food product, so there is no comprehensive list of where the products are being sold.
This product is available at a variety of retail outlets including vape shops, but similar products are also available online and in other local retail locations. Initial investigation points to a specific batch of products. It is not yet known if ingredients from that batch extended across product lines.
Arizona Poison and Drug Information Centers (APDIC) notified the Arizona Department of Health Services of multiple reports of people experiencing serious adverse effects after consuming certain microdose candy/chocolate bars, including Diamond Shruumz Microdose Candy/Chocolate bars. The patients have required emergency transport, emergency department evaluation, and in some instances, intensive care admission. Four cases have been reported to the two poison centers in Arizona, and additional cases have been reported by a few other state poison centers.
APDIC recommendations for providers:
Be alert for patients presenting with serotonergic-like effects, including, but not limited to, seizures, clonus, rigidity, and CNS depression (requiring intubation).
Provide supportive care with benzodiazepines, anticonvulsants, antiemetics, and oxygen.
Please report cases to the Poison Center (1-800-222-1222) for assistance with patient management and reporting. Poison Centers can also facilitate lab testing.

These products are not FDA-approved, and the ingredients listed may not be accurate.
Serious adverse effects, such as seizures, hallucinations, and loss of consciousness, have occurred after ingestion of these products.

Do not eat, sell, or serve Diamond Shruumz- Brand Microdosing Chocolate Bars until further notice.
