LVMPD Metro Squad was on hand along with dozens of guests and volunteers Saturday at the Wings and Wildlife Expose hosted at Pyramid Canyon Park in Laughlin. The event showcased local wildlife found in Southern Nevada as well as rocks, flora and fauna from the region. The event was hosted by Clark County Parks and Recreation, Nevada Department of Wildlife and Commissioner Michael Naft as well as the Laughlin Elks Club who provided food for guests. Kids were treated to kite flying, face painting and educational booths relating to Nevada’s wildlife. LVMPD had a booth on site as well as the River Fund Cancer Connection, Commissioner Nafts office, and the Clark County Library District among many.
