Police searching for two men in robbery

The Mohave County Sheriff’s office has distributed surveillance system images hoping the public can help them identify two suspects who broke into a Fort Mohave business. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said the male subjects entered a back door of the business in the 5500 block of Highway 95 early Thursday morning.

Mortensen said surveillance video shows the men first looting a cash register in the kitchen are of the establishment.

“The men then entered the office area of the business and went through cabinets and files,” a news release stated. “The men then pried open a safe located on the office desk and walked out of the business with the cash found inside the safe.”

Mortensen said footprints led to a cul-de-sac where it is believed the subjects fled in their parked getaway vehicle.

The first male subject is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7”-5’9”, 190 lbs, wearing a black sweater, jewelry, a black hat with a sticker on the bill, and a moustache.

The second male subject is described as a black male, approximately 6’-6’1”, 200 lbs, wearing a blue hoodie sweater or raincoat and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the subjects is encouraged to contact the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at 928-753-0753 or our toll free number at 1-800-522-4312 and reference DR#19-016260.
