No obstructions for Fun Run

Crews hope to substantially complete Beale Street construction by Friday, May 3. However, no matter what stage construction is at , crews will cleanup and open Beale St. completely, so there will be no obstructions to parking or traffic Friday and throughout the “Fun Run” weekend. Sixth St. will also be completely open with no obstructions. Crews will resume construction Monday, May 6 and work to finish the project next week.

New sewer lines are being installed in Beale Street and Sixth St. The proposed work includes new, 8-inch sewer lines along with two new sewer manholes.

Freiday Construction is the contractor performing the work.
