Motorcycle crash on Oatman Highway

On Monday, March 11, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies (MSCO) responded to MP 20 on Oatman Hwy., in reference to a vehicle collision.

According to an MCSO spokesperson, a motorcycle had collided with a truck and the motorcycle operator was unconscious. It was reported to deputies that the motorcycle was traveling north and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The motorcycle crossed the center line just as the truck was coming around the curve from the opposite direction and the motorcycle collided with the side of the truck. It appeared to deputies that the motorcycle operator was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and he was transported to a Las Vegas hospital for serious injuries.
