Staybridge Hotel projected scrapped

KINGMAN – Developers have shelved plans to build a new hotel on a near two-acre parcel at Airway Avenue and Hotel Way, just south of a dialysis center. The City said that officials with Kingman Bridge, Inc. have indicated that higher than anticipated construction costs have them pulling the plug on the project.

Plans for the Staybridge Hotel submitted with the city proposed a four-story, 80-room project. Some of those involved with the Staybridge were previously instrumental in building the La Quinta Inn which opened in July, 2016.
