Four northern Arizona mayors to speak at AAED’s Northern Economic Development Regional Symposium

Four newly-elected mayors from across northern Arizona will speak at the upcoming Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) Northern Economic Development Regional Symposium.

It will be held April 16 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Prescott Valley Police Department’s Community Room, 7601 E. Civic Circle in Prescott Valley.

Mayors Jen Miles from Kingman, Al Gameros from Globe, Tom Morrissey from Payson and Kell Palguta from Prescott Valley will share their views on the importance of business retention and attraction, retail and workforce to their communities.

Other sessions will include:

What is economic development?  Economic developers will answer the question, “what is economic development?” as they provide clarification on the key programs they administer to better the economy of their locales.

     Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA).  Learn about what ACA, the state’s leading economic development organization, is working on in northern Arizona and how ACA is advancing the economy of the state in the region with projects and new programs.
