Middle school band students selected for excellence

KINGMAN – Kingman Middle School was to have sent five of its talented musicians to the Arizona Music Educators Association’s All-State Honor Band Festival recently.

Nearly 300 of Arizona’s highly achieving middle school instrumentalists, grades six, seven, and eight, were to have gathered at Valley Vista High School in Surprise, on March 14, to rehearse and perform grade level concerts featuring the best student musicians from across the state. Performers for the sixth grade All-State band were selected by nomination. Arizona’s seventh and eighth grade musicians auditioned in November 2019 to become part of the prestigious ensembles.

Kingman Middle School proudly lauds the musicianship and determination of its All-State representatives.
