PHOENIX – Members of the Mohave College All-Arizona Academic Team were honored at a statewide ceremony in Phoenix on April 22, where they received team medals and certificates recognizing their academic achievement.
PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Gaming (Department) announced today the release of its Responsible Gaming Training initiative, consisting of free, self-paced training in responsible gaming foundations. Training participants will learn the fundamentals of risks associated with gambling, including problem gambling, how problem gambling differs from positive play, and how to connect with others in the context of addressing problem gambling.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 11:28 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, a fire was reported in the 900 block of Paso Drive. A neighbor observed smoke coming from the residence and called 911.
KINGMAN – The first of three defendants charged in a fentanyl seizure in Lake Havasu City has entered a probation-guaranteed plea agreement. Savannah Ketchersid, 29, pleaded guilty to a charge reduced to attempted transportation of a narcotic drug for sale during an April 22 hearing in Kingman.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A citizen who threatened Public Works Director Ron Foggin was arrested following the April 14 Lake Havasu City council meeting. Tim Murray, 76, admitted issuing the threat when interviewed by police.
