KINGMAN – The City of Kingman has hired a communications professional after its former Public Information Officer position has been vacant, with many of its duties filled by Clerk Annie Meredith in recent years.

KINGMAN – The High Desert Astronomy Club will present a lecture on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Lowell Observatory Historian Kevin Schindler. Schindler will be speaking on Lowell’s new Astronomy Discovery Center and Dark Sky Planetarium. The event will be held in the Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) Mohave Room, near the cafeteria.
