No injuries in Havasu house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Nobody was home and no one was injured in an Oct. 5 residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City. Fire department personnel responded to the incident in the 3900 block of Chalenger Drive at about 5:30 p.m.

“The first arriving fire company reported smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home,” a news release said. “Five engine companies, one medic unit and a Battalion Chief responded to the incident and gained control of the fire within 25 minutes.”

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
