KINGMAN – An elderly Fort Mohave man who harmed his disabled daughter was released from jail Thursday following his sentencing hearing in Mohave County Superior Court. Dean Peters, 72, was sentenced to 72 days in jail and credited with having spent that many days in custody. Peters was arrested on June 25 after an incident in the 5900 block of S. KINGMAN – Bullhead City Vice Mayor Annette Wegmann pleaded not guilty to a felony theft charge during her arraignment in Mohave County Superior Court in Kingman Thursday. Wegmann was indicted in a “he said-she said” dispute regarding what happened to the contents of a condo during her previous employment with a property management firm. Two-vehicle collision backs up traffic at Coyote Pass

KINGMAN – A two-vehicle collision backed up traffic in the northbound lanes of U.S. 93 Thursday, Sept. 6. The wreck occurred at 11:50 a.m. about one mile north of Interstate 40. Deputy Kingman Police Chief Rusty Cooper said a River Medical ambulance was traveling between 50 and 60 miles per hour when it ran into the back of a double tractor trailer hauling potatoes.
